  • Will and Inheritance Tax Advice

I am a widower. my estate is worth £900K composed of 3 properties (2 in the U.K. and 1 in Spain) I have 3 children. I need to start thinking about my will. I am after advice on the best way to divide my assets equally.

Should each child inherit a single property (they all have the same market value) or should all 3 children own a third each of each of the 3 properties?

I am looking for the pros and cons of each option with regards to reducing the amount of inheritance tax they would potentially be liable for.

    Hi MODI1

I can't answer directly, this only deals with the 'division' of assets, it's a US site, but it is a complex question you ask.
