  • Non titled property after death

My boyfriend of 9 years passed away and was living wIth me part-time. When he died, he left his belongings at my house. His belongings include clothes, shoes, a computer, and his guns. His family is demanding I hand over everything immediately, even tho I am not ready to, and they haven't informed me of any will at all.

What are my rights with his property, particularly the gun?

Sorry for your loss. I'm assuming you are in the US (mention of guns), unfortunately we are a UK forum so can only advise on UK matters at this time.

      Condolences on your loss.

If there is no will, suggest as a start, you google your own state laws regarding "intestate succession".
Every state has laws detailing how property is shared out.
But as Echat11 has said, sorry, but you are unlikely to obtain much advice from this site
