Was basically cheated out of my inheritance by clever sister taking advantage of a dithery mother. Sister and her friend are the executors. Have some concerns how estate is being administered, the friend is claiming only has to produce an account when probate is reached, being very evasive. I get half the residual estate, am I entitled to get updates prior to probate. Also reading on solicitors websites it seems if you aren't legally trained, apart from normal expenses associated with paperwork etc, you can't claim payment for acting as a administrator ? She's even paid for the flowers for the funeral out of my Mum's account, is that something I should of been consulted about. I initially arranged funeral, but after finding out I was dumped as executor, wasn't consulted about anything to do with the funeral, or what it would cost?
