  • Inherited Property in Deceased Name

My father died just over 7 years ago, I was his sole executor and obtained grant of probate. Out of his estate I inherited a house which my aunt lived in until her death earlier this year. I am doing the house up to sell and have only just realised that it was never changed into my name, in addition it is also an unregistered property.....can I wait until the property is sold and sort it out then or should I do it now.

You do not need to register the property, in your name prior to selling, as essentially your father's estate sells it to the new owner.
