  • Stamped IHT421 form

Hello, hope somebody could advise please.

I sent off the IHt400/IHT421 form to the tax office and the probate forms with all the documents required to the probate office on the same day as per advice from the government website

last week i got a stamped IHT421form sent to my home address from hmrc, i am based in Birmingham.

Do i need to forward the form to the probate office or is this just for my records?

Thank you in advance for any information

I recall that receipt needs to be sent with the grant application.

Either wait and see if court requests the form, or 'phone them and ask
Due to delays because of the current situation things might go astray,
They recently mislaid a death certificate and I had to send another

Thanks Des, I probably wait to hear from them,*

i got an email saying that hmcts had recieved my application on the same day as the date stamp on the iht421.

maybe this means that hmrc has it already.

            thanks again
