  • Leaving assets/savings to someone living in Japan

    Hi,

I want to complete a will, but I don't completely know whether there are specific legalities regarding leaving assets/savings to someone internationally, specifically Japan. My nominated executor is* indeed a UK resident, but I want to ensure part of my will are given to a Japanese beneficiary living in Japan. Can anyone give any information on any legal barring for international benefactors, and any tax information that might also be relevant.

    Thanks in advance.
