Hi. Recently I received a tile from tracing direct about my late brother David. 5 more family members also got them. All different companies. My question is would they contact us only if they know there is money ECT. ? Many thanks

No, heir hunters contact anyone they think might be a beneficiary, or might be able to give them a lead to someone who is.
There is no guarantee that you are in line for a windfall

PS I speak from experience, once contacted by three different companies following the passing of a very distant cousin.
Was traced because of a family tree being constructed on Ancestry by another relative !
