    Nuisance Phone Calls

    I am getting extremely fed up with 2-3 phone calls a day stating "We have been advised you have been in a car accident" to which my reply is no I haven't been in a car accident, please remove me from your database.....

    Next day the same stupid phone calls happen again.

    Please refrain from calling me otherwise I will take up a harrassment case!

    When they next call try and get a name and telephone number out of them. Then tell them that your number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service and you will be reporting them the the ICO to put them in line for a £500,000 fine.

    Doesn't matter if you're not registered with the TPS but they will hang up so fast you wouldn't believe it. Still report them to the ICO, it helps build up a case.

    So now is the time to register with the TPS

      Does TPS stop you from getting pre recorded cold calls?
