Back in December 2012 I called Orange to let them know I was moving country and I wanted to pay off the remainder of my balance. They said there was nothing to pay, it was the end of my contract. They have a record of this conversation of me informing them I was moving country.
In April 2014 after having been rejected for a loan to do a Masters I checked Equifax and I had a £122 default. I called up and paid.
But this default means I can't get any credit or a mortgage and I've realised how much it is affecting me. So I want to try and get it removed because I didn't receive any letters informing me of the debt due to moving country, which they knew about.
Can any one help?
