PLEASE READ AND INFORM ALL PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS/AUNTS/UNCLES

Today I have had several reports of texts being received by customers, from unknown numbers which, to quote a customer I spoke to today (please forgive the content I am saying this word for word) "Hey sexy, got your text, loved it, please reply and I will send you a photo of my boobs/bum/other unmentionable body part)"

DO NOT REPLY!!!

this is a scam to find out if your mobile number exists and subscribe you to a porn service!

some people are receiving images, which are quite frankly disturbing, so if you have small children for the love of all things holy, DO NOT let them look at your texts until you have checked them yourself!

If you receive a text along these lines, please contact your phone provider and ask for the spam reporting number, and forward the text to this number, and preferably inform the police too as these people do not care if children get these texts.

if your partner gets them, please be understanding, I am 99% sure that your partner did NOT solicit these texts, and is possibly as shocked as your are!

neither, I work in a mobile phone company and had a few customers reporting them, also we had some notification from H/Q that this was a problem.
