Hi All
I am hoping for some friendly advice on how I would stand legally.
Long story short, I have been having signal issues with my mobile phone network provider (phone number advertised for my business on yell etc.).
The network has been working on a nearby phone mast for over a month, they have extended the work numerous times over the month, but I've been having this issue for much longer than a month (Before this work started).
Having spoken to a rep on their webchat, their work around was for me to leave them, they actually iniated I'd leave, I'd just asked for a free signal booster box. Now I'm sure that I have a fair bit on my contract, but they said it is due this week and put me through to cancellations. The lady in cancellation confirmed the same thing, I even asked for an email to confirm this which I have. As well as the webchat trascript from the 2 agents.
The e-mail confirms no early termination fees and was sent my PUK code.
So my question is, if I leave after having asked twice to 2 different agents and having confirmation by email of no exit fees, where would I stand should they decide to charge me once I've left?
Like I said, my worry is that I was pretty sure I had some time left on my contract, but what more can I do more than ask them, surely 2 different people can't tell me wrong? Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but being a business number, I want to be sure.
