  • BT Basic, great for low income

I have just found out abut BT Basic Package. To get it you must be on:

    • Income support
    • Jobseeker's allowance (JSA) based on income
    • Guaranteed pensions credit
    • Employment and support allowance based on income
    • Universal credit, with zero earnings

Phone and broadband works out to be £10.00 per month, saving about £20.00
You are limited to 10 Gig download and £4.50 phone calls. Penalty fees are high if you exceed this but they send emails when you are close to your limit

It is a shame BT do not publicise this as for myself being disabled and on ESA, £20.00 a month saving is a lot. You just have to be disciplined and not abuse the service
