Ive been looking at this for my daughter but cant make any sense of it.
It seems that an N Power prepayment meter isnt pay as you go.
Daughter checked her account online and found that it was in credit by £233. She couldnt understand this (neither could I) as she belived her electric usage was pay as you go.
When she phoned N Power for an explanation she was told-
That they dont bill every time the meter is read and that the account details showing on the system were not a true picture, top up payments were showing as being credited but meter readings had only been billed up to 29th December 2014 despite the meter being read on 17th February,
N Power said that whilst they had to provide online accounts, these were not geared up for prepayment customers
Seems odd to me ????
