To get your money back here's what you need to do:
- Take your meter reading to work out your energy consumption.
- Contact your supplier with this information. It must then send you an accurate bill based on this reading
- If you are in credit, request a refund. You must receive this refund within 10 days.
- If you are still unhappy then you can complain to the Energy Supply Ombudsman www.energy-ombudsman.org.uk.
