    Re: How much is yours?

2 bed, Gas combi and hob, the rest electric.

We dont scrimp and have a combined total of £1450 per year not sure how this breaks down though?

£1200 just for electric seems a lot though......??

I'm always a bit sceptical how accurate these meters really are!!

So £1200 for electricity doesn't seem too unusual then but I'm a bit surprised that Pinknico & Ed seem to be paying a lot less.

Here have a look on here it is spot on with mine, I am with BG. The only other cheaper option is Scottish Power PAY IN ADVANCE don't think so lol

          Elec £61 month
          Gas £51 month.

British gas Online Websaver 3. Going to have a look see if Websaver 4 will be any cheaper.

3 bed house with teenage daughter, tumbledryer and dishwasher. Me and daughter are always freezing so the gas fire is on at the slightest drop in temperature. Haven't put the heating on so far but will be going on tonight.

Thanks Nelly - good site that. It reckons that if I went with British Gas I could save £200 but it does come with a lot of restrictions including an exit penalty. Other than BG the best saving is with EDF at £79. So not a huge difference to what I'm paying now really.

Just checked with BG, Websaver 4 is no difference to Websaver 3, except it carries on till Nov 2010, so am leaving that as it is.

              I like BG.

Natwest bounced my dd for Homecare last month, which left me with 203 to pay before the end of Nov. Lovely woman at BG Homecare has given me 2 months free which basically means its halved the outstanding payment, cos I've been a homecare customer for over 5 years and i've got my gas and leccy with them too. And a £25 credit on my leccy bill in 6 months time.
