1st November 2023 we received a letter demanding the sum of £7,306.00 payable to Pozitive Energy Ltd. Nothing was provided except the letter and stating we had to pay within 7 days.
Of course a Proof of Debt letter was sent, only for on the 8th November 2023 for a second letter to arrive with a new figure of £8,730.00 stating the client now claims £1,423.30 interest to date, so 6 days at £2.65 per day. Yes bells and buzzers do start to ring, This is the third such claim from companies such as PreAction Ltd.
When further information was sent, it was in the form of an invoice for the whole of December 2021 for gas, We have stated that the invoice was not a proof of debt and that we required a copy of the original agreement/contract for the supply of energy, their reply has not been so quick this time. It is of note that we have been with British Gas Lite since 2019.
So please be aware there are lots of these energy companies/agents trying it on, do no despair and get advice from a site such as this.
