Anglian Water offers two social tariffs for metered domestic customers who may experience particular hardship because they use large amounts of water for essential purposes.

For customers who have established their entitlement for assistance, the following charges apply:

WaterSure

water supply -Standing charge per year- £169.00

Sewerage Service (properties
connected for both foul and
surface water drainage)£209.00

Sewerage Service (properties
connected for foul water

in order to qualify for the WaterSure tariff, you or anyone living in the property should be in receipt of one or more of the following benefits/tax credits:

• Income Support
• Income based Jobseeker’s Allowance
• Housing Benefit
• Council Tax Benefits
• Working Tax Credit
• Child Tax Credit (except families in receipt of the family element only)
• State Pension Credit

In addition, you should also

either:
be receiving Child Benefit for three or more children under the age of 19 who are in full-time education and living living at the property
or:
have (or someone living in the property has) a medical condition listed below that requires the use of significant additional water:

• Desquamation (flaky skin disease)
• Weeping skin disease (eczema, psoriasis, varicose ulceration)
• Incontinence
• Abdominal stoma
• Crohn’s disease
• Ulcerative colitis
• Renal failure requiring home dialysis (except where the health authority contributes to the cost of the water used in dialysis)
• Any other medical condition that uses significant volumes of water and can be supported by a Doctor’s certificate.

SoLow – SoLow comprises of no standing charges but a higher than our standard rate charge per cubic metre. To view our current charges, click here.
To qualify for Solow, you should useless than 75 cubic metres of water per year and must live at the property as your main home.
