  • Sheriff's court Scotland - Tenancy issue

Major issue with local authority and a tenancy issue in Scotland. Exhausted internal complaints and now the only option is to get a Sheriff to decide if the council acted unfairly in their discrimination towards a tenant. Does anyone know how to being proceedings and is a solicitor needed, or can someone do it themselves?

    thanks guys, as always!

I would say that yes, it sounds like you need to get a solicitor involved. Navigating anything other than the Simple Procedure without one is usually full of pitfalls for the layperson, and you can be sure that their solicitor shall be well practiced.
