I believe I am legally entitled to inherit 50% from my late mother's estate (under Scottish law) as my father passed away before her.
I am an only child. My mother gave me £200000 9 years ago. Will this be taken into account and deducted from what I am legally entitled to inhetit?
    TIA

The legal right entitlement (legitim) is only to the moveable estate (money, shares etc) and not to houses etc.

Assuming the 200k was a gift as opposed to a loan. Because you are an 'only child' the gift should not be taken into account in assessment of legitim.
