  • Parking fines

Hi, I received an overstay parking charge from uk parking control at my local McDonalds in scotland in May 2019. I phoned McDonalds straight away to explain the situation and they said they would contact them to waive the charge
they phoned me back and said they had got the charge cancelled and sent me a copy of the e mail they received from uk parking waiving the charge but a month or so later they started sending me letters and eventually passing it on to a debt recovery. I ignored all letters. Then out of the blue in October 2020 the same debt recovery agency contacted me looking for payment, ignored again
this morning I received another letter from ZZPS debt with the usual scare mongering tactics looking for payment . Any thoughts?

If it's Scotland then ignore, unless they know the identity if the driver.

No difference, but you have inferred who the driver was. Please edit.
