How very dare they 'POP UPS'

I keep getting 'pop ups'
I have firefox what's it and I am on Yahoo main page.
Can some one tell me how to get rid of the little blighters, they only started this morning.
Me thinks the lad has been messing again, I'll chop his bloody hands off one of these days.

okie dokie

click on tools at the top of your browser, then options.
you need the contents tab
make sure pop up blocker is ticked, then take a look at exceptions (if the lad has been playing he may have allowed sites to provide pop ups) anything in there you don't know about.... remove!!

hopefully that should do it
