I signed up to a site 'recycle' which sounded great.
It has loads of items other people in your area want to get rid of for free.
I thought it would be a matter of typing in 'kitchen table' or something and any kitchen tables in the area would show up.
But it doesn't work like that at all.
Every day I get about 50 emails for anything that is being given away - or wanted.
More annoying is that they don't go in to my 'bulk' but in to my main emails.
I have contacted the moderators of the site to cancel, but they haven't nor have they even replied.
To be honest, I don't want to cancel, but would like the emails to go to 'bulk' as then I don't have to bother with them unless I need something.

Ironically, when I email myself something it does go to 'bulk' even though I have my email address in my address book.

Any idea how I can make 'Recycle' go to bulk and my own go to 'received'

Before you download the emails to your PC from your bulk folder, mark them as spam.

Just block sender until it is sorted out.

          Hi Littlesally,

I too am a member of Freecycle, it's great isn't it

I am sure it will be the same whatever group you are in there is a edit membership oh god not very good at explaining am I.

Right at the top you have your name, email addy, then group member then edit membership click on edit membership.

go to step 2 Message delivery
          Step 2. Message Delivery

Yahoo! Groups lets you choose how you stay in touch.
Individual Email The option to choose if you want to get each group message and special notice individually and immediately, as it is posted.

Daily Digest The option to choose if you want to see all messages but limit the amount of email you receive. We'll compile an email of up to 25 messages and send daily (special notices too!).

Special Notices - Receive only important email notices from the group moderator.

Web Only - Don't get notified of the latest happenings. Read messages only on the web.

And then change to Special Notices

          I hope this helps
