Has Anyone Heard Of?

Quick question....

I was going to purchase something on-line, however it asked for my Debit Card details, but it wasnt using Paypal. The Protection offered by the company for taking a Debit Card payment was the following: Matrix Security Safe, 100% Server Secure and Hacker Safe.

They were shown like little badges at the top of the payment page.

Just wondered if anyone had heard of these and if it was safe.

It was a Advert that I clicked on whilst I was looking for something else and I didnt keep the link, It was for some Herbal patch, that sounded too good to be true so probably was. Decided against purchasing it, but just wondered if these payment safety guarantees were well known or very dodgy LOL.

Personally I would stick to the main online processors, ie paypal, Google Checkout, Verified by Visa etc.

If you are unsure do some googling and see if anything comes up.

Always check that the browser shows the padlock symbol, in most cases this means its a secure site, although that can be got around nowadays.

Best way to check, is to do what you did, and ask people.
