Hi all,
Haven't been on-line for a few weeks the last time I was I had an on-screen message from Norton saying I had 28 days left on my subscription did I want to re-new now or remind me later? So I clicked on remind me later, this was for 3 reasons: 1. Quite frankly I couldn't afford it, 2. I wanted to wait until it experied I didn't want them having money from me sooner than need be , 3. I wanted to shop around.
This morning whilst checking my bank account I noticed that Norton has debited a annual subscription fee for £50.82, it is showing as a card payment, on 1/9/2008. I obviously used my card last year when I renewed, but do they have the right to keep those card details, and re-new my subscription without my permission?
Any advice greatly received, thank you!
