So by the sounds of it they are going ahead with court hearing...scary I hoped they would have dropped it by now seeing how many of us are defending...

Filing template witness statements is one thing. Actually showing up in court is another.

Yes, and you have to remember everything they do is designed, in a large degree, to intimidate you out of defending the claim.

Hi, I've received a letter from HM Courts and Tribunals Service saying that they have referred the matter between myself and UK Services & Support Ltd to the District Judge for allocation directions following the filling of my directions questionnaire. I must give the court 28 days to gain judicial direction. So looks like I will not get a date till May.
Has anyone gone to court yet?

Ahh good, later the better really, first hearings are end of april, beginning of may so far, so of course once they are dealt with we'll know far more.

We made a Freedom of Information request to HMPO asking for various pieces of information

Unfortunately although they'll hold the complaints data on BPS it would have to be manually scrapped making it too expensive to retrieve. But at least they've confirmed that when a third party books an appointment for someone they have to give the correct details of the individual for whom the appointment is for, which means when BPS flog urgent appointments that have been previously made for someone else and tell you to lie about who made the appointment and not to disclose who the appointment is actually for, they aren't providing a legitimate service.

BPS are not an accredited HMPO agent.

Thanks, indeed you are not alone with having telephoned the company believing them to be the HMPO. Of course NOW they have disclaimers on their phone lines, but before they didn't - there are just too many reports of the same thing happening for the firm to pretend that there were.

I have today received a letter of Notice of Allocation of the Small Claims Track - Hearing. My court date is 5th June 2015 @ 11:00. I will copy the form and sent it to you. I just need a bit of help with the witness statement I have to send in two weeks before.

Signed up to this company to book appointment for passport then realised it's not the government site so cancelled the appointment t and keep receiving emails phone calls and letters in the post about owing them £117 they said you didn't go on the link to cancel appointment now they said a court letter is being issued?? Is this a scam company and can they take me to court for the money?
