Hello,
I wonder if you can offer some advice.
My partner took her laptop to a computer repair shop to have the screen replaced (cracked).
She got it back all working but while collecting two guys in the shop started smirking and commenting on her "nice pictures" on the laptop.
She didn't give them any consent to look through the laptop and is now a little concerned they may have taken some of the photos etc.
She spoke to the local trading standards helpline who agreed it was unprofessional but said that no legal offence had been committed so all they could advise was to leave a review online and that they'd keep a record on their files.
Are they right?
Thanks in advance,
Alex
