Hi All,
My husband had a lower leg tendon issue for which he sort a physio. Whilst there the physio informed him that he had a leg length discrepancy and sold him some insoles to resolve the problem. He wore them for a number of years but he felt they were causing problems and he began to doubt they were needed and stopped. Although he strongly suspected that this was wrong information for a number of years, he didn't really have any long term injury, just issues that could be resolved by exercise etc. He now has what seems to be a permanent problem. Apparently I don't think any physio should make a leg length discrepancy from just observation, it appear its a complex process that needs accurate measurements. so its currently not established if there is a leg discrepancy or not.
*Side note, I also went to him for a minor back issue and he also told me I have a leg discrepancy, so it seems to be something he tells people regularly.
So can I ask when the limitation period would start and finish in this situation? Does the injury need to have occurred or would need to have predicted that there would be a future injury? Or would it run from when it becomes proven if there is/or isn't a leg discrepancy? Or something else?
