Hi
I was walking across the work car park to start my day when I fell due to a submerged pot hole hurting my left knee and side i managed to continue to building and start my shift at 8:45 but went home at 11:00 due to pain and swelling.I self certification for first 7 days and fit note for 3 days.My company is telling me i wont get paid for first 3 days as not a accident at work cus i didnt start till 8:45 however my supervisor has told before to be here before start time.Any advice would be welcome as i am going to put in a grievance but not sure what to put.
