    My personal injury , no win no fee explained

    Hi
    11 months ago i fell in a hotel with unsafe floor breaking my wrist and ankle and getting carpal tunnel because of accident I had a operation to rectify the problem I am now at a position of being on the mend ,apart from pain and stiffness All has been recorded, written down,expenses, care , and witnessed On speaking briefly to a solicitor she mentioned Claims under 20k are on a no win no fee and over 25k is a different propersition.
    Could you tell me how these claims work, and any advice
