Sent letter on the 24th August, no response

Hello,

I sent a letter of VT using the template on the 24th August, my phone number is correct and in there twice, so is my address. I've not received any confirmation or a phone call regarding collection. The letter asked them to arrange collection within the next 14 days, but that is unlikely to happen.

I am wondering if I should phone them? However without receiving confirmation I am a bit concerned. I do not want to keep paying monthly so I've cancelled my DD (the next one isn't due for 3 weeks), and I am still paying car insurance and would like to also cancel that.

Any advice be appreciated, regards

Do you have proof of postage? Anyway, phone them and ask them why they have not responded to your letter.

Hello, yes I sent it recorded delivery and it was signed by them.

So contact them again saying you are transferring the registration over to them and they will be liable for tax and insurance.
