Good afternoon,
I purchased a car on a PCP deal (Barlcays Finance) in May 2015 trhough buyacar. I'm a pretty busy chap and I didn't notice that the V5 never arrived until I got speeding fine that had taken a fair while to find me. Of course I then realised and chased buyacar for the V5 several times. It has never turned up and last night I realised that my tax had probably run out - it has!
Now, I am obviously worried that there are several fines now sitting somewhere from DVLA for failure to declare SORN or driving an untaxed car. Also, I am now worried that the car may not even be mine.
So my questions are, to any one that can help or has had this happen to them:
1: How can I move this forward? buyacar don't seem to want to respond and just fob me off. Should I contact the finance company?
2: Is the care even mine? I would be very happy to just drop it at buyacar and leave them the keys but I'm guessing that will mean issues with the Finance company!
Anyhow, help would be appreciated.
