  • VT question

im a bit confused re this after reading conflicting things on this site.. We have paid half of our finance ( bar one month which will be paid next week ) we have never missed a payment.
My son has been awarded mobility and so would like to get a mobility car as have had to pay out for a few repairs in the car including a new engine. It's an older car (10 years old ) it's probably in better condition now than when we brought it but there were marks on the alloys when we brought - will they try and claim for these ?

Also I read that if they sell it at auction for cheaper they will want the different back?
I have also called the finance company and they have said they will put a note on our credit file? Can they do this ?
I have printed off the letter from the sticky thank you and will post as soon as I know that we will be ok to do this .. I just don't want any comeback or for them to ask for anymore money and therefore affect our credit as looking for a mortgage

Another thing is we've read the paperwork and the dealer has put incorrect mileage on the finance agreement we brought it having done 120K miles but the paperwork says 77K? They were a bit dodgy to be honest and now im worried they'll charge us for excessive mileage when actually we haven't done them although our fault for never checking.

Basically, do you think we'll encounter any problems ? Thank you
