  • Garage - Reparied Timing Chain incorrectly

    Hi,

A RAC approved garage attemted to fix my car a couple weeks ago. I paid a fee of £60 to dygnoise the issue to be the timing chain. they then fixed the timing chain costing me £500. They then said there might be valve damage and could cost another £1500. So i told them not to fix it as i needed a second view.

They then went to move the car and said it wasnt the valves, but the vanos or the solinoid.. I told them i needed a second view. The other garage said that they put the timing chain on incorrectly.. and charged me £90 .

is there any way of getting my £500 pounds back plus the charge paid to the new garage of £90.

The Garages is AES in sutton.

    Thanks
    Malcolm D'Gama
