How did you pay the deposit for the finance?

    Credit Card?

Under CRA if the car develops a serious fault within 6 months of purchase the finance company/dealer must repair the car in a reasonable time after the consumer reports the fault.
The fc is the owner of the car until the consumer has repaid the loan in full, so your claim is against the fc
You should write to the fc rejecting the car
If the fc refuses rejection you should raise a complaint with the fc and then refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman

        This is finance company response
I understand from your previous correspondence that you would prefer to reject the vehicle due to the delays in resolving your complaint. While I fully understand your concerns, you would not be entitled to rejection at this stage. I have set the expectation with the broker that we need the repairs to be completed as soon as possible and should there be further delays, we would consider it in the future.

No sorry I can't find a template letter to a finance company to reject the car
You have already corresponded with the fc about rejection and at present the fc is refusing your request.
You should now write to the fc stating the date the car went into the garage and how long it has now been without the fault being fixed. You have still not been provided with a date when the car will be returned
Go on to say this is an unreasonable amount of time and is causing you significant inconvenience which is a breach of CRA
End with if the matter cannot be resolved in 7 days you will refer your complaint to the FOS

The fc claims there is no timeframe for the repair to be carried out. What is a reasonable time is a matter of fact (the fault, availability of parts and labour) The FOS should investigate to find out
