I don't have the full details as of yet but shall update in due course as ai receive them but...
Can you reject a car on motability where it is having one issue after another?
It's my Uncles motability car, a Skoda Karoq. They collected it April 2021 and its been back to Skoda for a range of issues. 1st was when the interior trim illumination went off, and maybe took the radio off with it. Skoda eventually fitted a new unit, coded both keys and should have cost £3000 but done under warranty. Then more recently, the dash is flagging up a "SOS failure" and the whole radio goes off and calls through the car don't work. It's been to Skoda a few times without success. I've googled this issue and rectification is often unsuccessful, and it affects a range of their vehicles. A link I found that discusses this issue is here- https://www.karoqforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=710
So, I've suggested he looks at rejecting the car for a replacement. He said he spoke with Motability who advised that to reject there is a £250 fee plus he'd need a new deposit for the next vehicle, which I'm sure isn't true having rejected a car on finance myself previously.
Can anyone offer advice or input on this?
