Hello
I have a 2013 Audi Q7 which was purchased in 2020 for £18.5k. Last summer the car started having issues and a fuel pressure fault code appeared.
We replaced parts through elimination starting with fuel filter moving on to fuel pumps etc. Car would then start but not run.
Put car into a recommended Audi specialist garage in November 2021. Through diagnostics the garage have replaced HPFP, sensors, injectors, ecu etc etc ! Car is still not running !!
We are thousands of pounds into a garage bill and the car has now been off the road for over a year.
We have paid 50% of the finance but still owe £10.5k. The garage don't know what else they can do and have recommended we sell it as spares or repairs.
My question is can we return the car through VT. We have tried to maintain the car but if the garage cannot fix it then I'm not sure where we stand with it. If the garage has a report to say it is unfixable then would that allow us to terminate, or will we still be liable for the full amount of the finance left?
I understand we are going to take a hit with this - we already have but if there is any way to recuperate on any loss then it would be worth a try,
Thanks
