In 2018 I defaulted on a moneybarn HP agreement. I returned the car to them and they have sold the debt to moorcroft who I am in a payment arrangement with. I have been paying moorcroft and happened to check my credit report to see if I am improving things in general and noticed that the moneybarn agreement is showing as open and up to date with no details of payments! Now my issue here is other debts that are sold to debt collectors show as the debt company and have a default date. I'm worried that as I have no default date in the moneybarn and it is not shown by a debt company that this is going to impact me way longer than the usual 6 years. Could anyone shed any light on this and what I can do Thanks
Moneybarn in default but not showing as a default with CRAs
