  • VT Barclays

Hi, I’ve started the VT process with Barclays and have paid over half of the total amount payable so I’m hoping it should be straight forward. I have sent them a letter and email and the letter has been signed for. I have avoided the telephone as I’m so worried about the paperwork that I have read on these threads, that they try to make you sign.

I used the letter template from here ( Thankyou ) can I still drive the car until I receive a return date ? Ideally I would love to keep the car, however my personal circumstances don’t make that option possible.

I also have exceeded the mileage pro rota as it is PCP vehicle but have paid over half. I know they will try to get me for this but legally they can’t. I guess I’m just really worrying about this whole process.
I also need another vehicle which I am buying outright and much cheaper but I daren’t buy one until everything is confirmed . Has anyone had a positive experience with Barclays

You cannot drive it after the VT is a accepted. You no longer have a contract
