Well it would make sense if your refund is going to be more than the £35 cost and in turn will mean that you have less to pay out of your own pocket should you want to settle with Blackhorse. If the amount is going to be nominal like less than £100 to pay after your refund, then it would seem logical that paying off the insurance amount would be a sensible choice rather than quarraling over something quite small, especially if you have the means.
