  • Voluntary Termination of PCP with PSA Finance

Recently VT my DS3 through psa finance. They’re websites appalling by the way. Car given ti Mannheim and damage found. Psa were also after excess mileage costs. Total still owed £725. I write a letter to them as per the legal beagles website quoting precedent etc. They replied that they found the costs proportionate so my next course of action would the ombudsman.I had e mailed them on numerous occasions asking for a breakdown of costs and received nothing back.In the meantime, less than two weeks after that letter, I received another letter stating they had instructed debt collects to recover the outstanding debt. I telephoned psa today and informed them that I had required a breakdown of costs and was mulling over the ombudsman. Psa stated the letter they had sent meant they weren’t prepared to accept the letter I had written. I informed them the debt *collectors letters was a bully tactic to get me to pay and they replied they had sent it as they hadn’t heard from me! It’s supposed to be on hold now pending the ombudsman. So has anyone had success with the ombudsman? What letter should I write to them
