Buying at auction after VT

Hi everyone,
1st time poster. I’ve recently VT’d our family Mercedes (I won’t bore you with reasons etc). The car is in very good condition however and obviously I know how it’s been looked after! Is there anything legally to stop me buying it at auction when it goes under the hammer in the near future?
