  • Voluntary termination with missing service history

    Hi there.

I was wondering if somone can give me a bit of information please.

I am thinking of voluntary termination of my car. I am able to do this as over the 50% threshold.

I have serviced the car myself, getting bits and bobs from eurocarparts etc. I have written in the service booklet at times of service, but not got the book stamped.

Some people have told me that the car has to be stamped from a Vat registered garage.

I am worried that should I VT my car they will charge a fortune for, in effect, missing services.

    I am with santander.

    Any advice would be great.

    Many thanks.

    Simon
