Advice before VT

Hi guys, thank you all for posting your experiences on here, everything I have read has been really useful so far.
I have a question....Before I VT my car, do I need to bring the servicing up to date?

I fear this could be a painful process anyway as I have recently been the victim of someone damaging my car in a car park (Dents on the side door) and I am way over the mileage....I fear that I will be getting a mahoosive bill once I VT.
