  • starting to VT with PSA

    I started by sending a letter using the template from this site on Friday the 10th aug. I then followed up with an email on Sunday 12th aug.
    I received the paper work from PSA on Friday the 17th aug.
    I needed to pay £300 to take up to 50% so I phoned and the operator I spoke to was only interested in the fees I must of asked at least 20 times to take a payment then I would talk about the VT, but she would not listen and then she just hung up on me with out taking the payment.
    Phoned again I still had to demand that they take payment as they were always trying to add charges even though I had not even discused the vt and I would not until the contract was up to 50 percent. I had to tell them that I would ask once more and if he did not take payment I would hang up and they would have to chase me through the courts for it as they would of refused to take the payment.
    finally got to made payment

    then we Argued with person about collection fees for quite a while, then he said that he would take some of the money from the payment I had made to take the payment up to 50 percent to use for the collection charge.

    {I believe this to be theft and fraud mis directing the money.}
    I told him that it was theft and fraud and I was going to inform the police, he argued, I demanded to speak to a manager to complain about it or I was going to hang up and contact the police, he put me on hold and finally came back and said they would wave the fees and gave me the phone number. to get the car collected which is happening on 23rd aug.

    the saga continues.

    well they picked the car up, did an inspection and came up with £550 pounds worth of so called damage. I was at work so will phone on Monday to question..
    he said that the repair on the back door / quarter and bumper is not correct, I don't find it a problem as it was PSA insurance that did the repair, so they can sort it. he also said the rear wheels were corroded and want to charge me for them to be fixed. there wasn't a single mark on the wheels so I suppose he has to come up with something.
