Hello Everyone;
I have voluntary terminated my vehicle with BMW last week. I had to do all the chasing to get them to do it after writing to them.
I was only 2 years out of 4 in the pcp agreement. I had 10,000 pa for miles. But as I have not reached paying 50% of the total sum I have had to pay BMW £5600 to cover the shortfall up to the 50%.
I havehad the inspecter come today and collection is also today, I have been made aware of £122 + VAT of damage which I was expecting and have no issue with paying that.
My milage is now at 23,900 (had car at 3,200 miles). Which means they will charge me for excess milage.
My argument is that I have paid upfront £5600 which is another 18 months worth of rental on the vehicle. Could I argue that I have paid the depreciation value of any miles that I had on my vehicle and that the is no damage to the vehicle that has not been recovered already?
thanks
lee
