  • Blackhorse handing into auction

    Hi everyone,

im new to this but wondering if anyone can help a very worried girl.. I doing a VT with Blackhorse they have sent me the paperwork but on part a there is a claim use that states I am liable for any damages to the car that is not deamed normal wear and tear. I’m taking the car to auction so I called them to ask if they do report on the car for Blackhorse and they said no Blackhorse would do this so I called Blackhorse and they said no they send no one out to the car. So what happens? I don’t want to end up with a bill for something that I could have done myself at a fraction of the price. The car has no bumps, major scratches, cracked window screen or anything so I consider for its age the car is in good condition. But that clause still makes me worro d of any come back on the car later on? Anyone have any experience of this?

    thanks in advance.

      Morning,

I would suggest you read the following link, it should answer your questions.

      http://legalbeagles.info/forums/foru...on-your-rights

The key is to take plenty of photographs at every angle, both close up and at a reasonable distance - you may even want to take a video and do a walk through of the car.

Barclays have been known to issue late payment markers on your account if you refuse to pay up what they think is owed to them. I personally would consider that a breach of data protection because its a failure to keep your data accurate and up to date and unfair processing of your data. Until someone chooses to take them on at court, that's the risk you are going to have to run if you don't pay them what they ask for.

If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

Thanks Rob, I have tippexed out the clause as I do not agree with it.. the alloy wheels were marked when I brought the car through Motorpoint and I have done nothing about them and did not advise Motorpoint at the time. However my point is no one seems to know who inspects the car and does a report to Blackhorse. It appears I’m expected to sit and wait for a bill to land on my doorstep for whatever they feel is wrong and decide to charge me for.

i have written a letter for BCA to sign to say the car just have normal wear and tear I will asked them to sign this when I take the car in Friday and hopefully this will be enough to cover me if any come bAck does come later.

Fingers crossed anyway I don’t think anything else is wrong with the car.
