I Bought a Mercedes on PCP just over 3 years ago and it had final payment at end of 4 years.
When I bought I asked dealer if I should get extra warrenty cover for the last year (as out of manufacturers warrenty) but he told the cars are so reliable it wasnt needed.
Just after the first year it had a fuel fault which was fixed, again just after the second year a similar fault happened which was again fixed under warrently (apparently a different part)
So its just passed 3 years by approx 4 weeks and the fault is back, Ive taken in and now they have said its a fuel pump issue and its not covered... I am arguing with Merecedes that they are all related but I cannot prove this.
It still drives fine but and is hardly noticable, but this fault to fix could cost £1000+
Can I hand the car back as still on PCP (the car is probabaly not worth more than what I owe)? what are my rights on this?
