I had a Nissan Navara returned last November at the end of a lease agreement financed by RCI. All payments had been made. The collection agents attempted to get me to sign a form which would have committed me to paying £244.59 for damages which in my opinion did not exist. I refused to sign.
In July this year they sent an invoice. This was disputed. I asked for photographic evidence and repair job sheet.
Eventually they forwarded a poor copy of a photograph but it was of a totally different vehicle.
RCI are not prepared to drop the invoice and I do not see why a payment should be made for something that did not exist.
What course of action is best to take.
