I took it to the Ombudsman in the end and they have just come back with a decision...they found in favour of Startline and said they didn't think the charges were unfair. I am of course, going to appeal it, as I think they were grossly unfair.
Just thought I'd give you guys an update. Needless to say, I was pretty crushed to receive that outcome. Will let you know what the final Ombudsman decision is but I'm not hopeful - have a feeling I'm going to end up having to pay the charges...
