First time post but have been looking for help in relation to this parking infringement on this site.
I Received a rejection letter from Met parking services for staying over the 90 minutes allowed, I believe I was around 20 over. I sent an appeal:
I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver did not see any signs in the free car park and was a patron of McDonalds Lakeside. The surrounding ample free parking around Lakeside would have prompted a move when the time had expired if signage was seen. In any event your charges are penal in nature and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.
I then received the attached letters (map of location is in doc format as it was too large to upload).
I had parked in bay 13 where there is no signage and the sign at the entrance to the car park is obsolete as you could not read it while driving in anyway as you would be watching out for pedestrians etc.
Any help on this matter as to the format for the letter and evidence needed to POPLA would be extremely appreciated.
